Mommy kitchen vs baby kitchen (both IKEA)

Recently I moved into my 3 bedroom, 1 bath house. The living room, kitchen and dining area are all in the same room. To be honest, I am not a big cooker/baker so my small, simple and clean kitchen is perfect for me. I love the fact that is has a large over sized island with two extra bar stools so my husband and I can sit or stand while we eat if the children are being crazy. My favourite part about my kitchen is the white farm sink. It is a double sink so there is plenty of room to store those dirty dishes that I save for night time when the children are asleep (THANK YOU DISHWASHER)!
Since moving to this house my daughter has found great joy in playing with her mini kitchen. I placed hers beside mine so when I am in the kitchen cooking, she can also cook (fake food of course). My favourite part about the ikea kitchen is that you can put batteries inside and the kitchen will make noises. The kitchen itself includes a sink, oven, burner, microwave and storage area. I purchased separately the soft IKEA kitchen food to go with it. My daughter enjoys pretending to eat the food and wash the dishes. Overall, I would recommend this product to anyone with a toddler-preschool age.
