For those of you who don't know we were gifted a trip to Regina to meet up with Marks sister Brittany face to face as part of the "we're there" campaign with Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express. The main purpose of the trip was to see Brittany graduate from the RCMP and to create memories that we will cherish forever. We’re there celebrates human connections, what really matters in life. The simple truth of We’re there is in-person connections – helping us to Be There IRL (in real life).
Day 1:
We arrived in Regina on Saturday the 26th where Brittany met us at the airport. My kids were so excited to see her, especially Adeline. Addie even gave Britt a hug. Marks mother was bawling her eyes out since we all haven't seen her for over half a year. This is when I realized how important it is to reconnect in person. Check in was easy, rooms were very clean and the staff were super friendly.

Day 2:

We spent the day at the Holiday Inn in Regina swimming and playing in our hotel room as a family. My daughter enjoyed the waterslide that the hotel had, she kept making daddy take her down over and over again. In the afternoon we drove around all of Regina site seeing and went out for dinner at a local restaurant. The hotel provided complimentary tea and coffee so we probably drank a handful of them throughout the day because of the time change (we were exhausted!). The service was amazing and the staff were so friendly. Our room was super clean and spacious which is great when travelling with kids. The pool lifeguard was so kind and helpful and loved talking to Adeline. The pool was clean and nice and warm. Addie didn't want to get out!

Day 3:
Today was Brittany's graduation at the RCMP base. It was such a beautiful ceremony and we are so proud of her! In the middle of the day my family went back to our hotel for more swimming. In the evening, the RCMP held a dinner for us all. They provided childcare for the kids so that make the evening so much more enjoyable and we actually got to eat in peace. Brittany looked so amazing in her uniform as shown in pictures below.

Last day:
We flew out super early in the morning to head home (5am). This trip has been absolutely so much fun and we have created so many memories that will last a lifetime. My family is super important to me, so being able to reconnect face to face has been amazing. It's unfortunate that life sometimes gets in the way (lack of time, finances, ect) but it is super important to find a way to reconnect and see each other in person. Holiday Inn makes it easy because of all of the different locations they have. Thank you so much Holiday Inn.
Pointers about Holiday Inn:
Offers warm, welcoming service and amenities to all guests, whether traveling for business or leisure. Super affordable which makes travelling so much easier. "Kids stay and eat free" program which is amazing when travelling with children. Holiday Inn hotels are always clean and staff and service is always friendly. There are nearly 4,000 locations which makes it easier to reconnect and travel with family.
